SALENTEIN PRIMUS CHARDONNAY 2018
Valle de Uco, Argentina
Chardonnay118€ / 75cl
A truly stunning Chardonnay that rivals the classic white wines of Meursault and Montrachet in France with its character. The grapes selected for this wine come from some of Argentina’s finest plots, located at 1,300 m above sea level on the slopes of the Andes. Here, the grapes ripen ideally, receiving abundant sunshine, just the right amount of meltwater from the Andean snowcaps, and cool nights that ensure fresh fruitiness. A 10-month maturation in French oak barrels imparts an inviting toastiness, which, combined with delicious tropical fruit notes and vibrant acidity, makes this wine irresistibly captivating.

SASSICAIA 2018
Tuscany, Italy
Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc538€ / 75cl
Italy’s most iconic red wine and the world’s first Super Tuscan, from the excellent 2018 vintage. Sassicaia 1972, awarded as the world’s best Cabernet wine in 1978, became famous as a revolutionary wine produced in a region not considered suitable for viticulture and using French grape varieties that didn’t meet the criteria for Italy’s classified wines. It was also revolutionary in price — a table wine that cost significantly more than any classified wine! Today, a bottle of 1972 Sassicaia can fetch €2,800. Sassicaia has challenged not only Italian wines but also the legendary classified growths of Bordeaux. This well-structured and complex wine is marked by Sassicaia’s signature aromas of blackcurrant, dark chocolate, black olives, bell pepper, and a hint of menthol. The bold mouthfeel is balanced by firm, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity, and nuanced fruit. A wine with Italian style and French finesse!
